Khimki backer Tufan Sadigov evaded detention in a scam allegation
Financial contributors of soccer «Khimki» A motion to imprison Tufan Sadigov was denied in a fraud accusation.
The Golovinsky Tribunal in Moscow dismissed the Investigation Department’s plea to detain the entrepreneur. The alternate measure for Sadygova, instead of confinement in a preliminary detention facility, remains unspecified. The proceedings were conducted without media presence: court officers expelled reporters, allowing solely Sadigov’s family and associates to remain within the premises (including his offspring, Khimki striker Ilya Sadigov, who stayed in the courtroom). The Moscow Municipal Court then directed journalists to observe «recent updates» on the agency’s press office platforms.
Sadigov’s apprehension surfaced last evening. The narrative behind the businessman’s prosecution remains unclear — A search of his workspace transpired the previous day. Several others are implicated in the matter; imprisonment was also rejected for some today.
