Trump warned Iran of possible destruction of energy infrastructure
Trump threatened Iran with the destruction of its energy infrastructure.
“We can strike areas of Tehran and other places in such a way that it will be almost impossible for them to rebuild their country. And we don't want that.
“But we could hit the power industry—we could destroy their electrical system in an hour, and it would take them 25 years to restore it. So, ideally, we wouldn't do that,” Trump said.
He previously threatened to destroy Iran as a state if the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz continued.
