“A peace agreement is complicated because you're going to be dividing up territory in a certain way. It's like a very complicated real estate deal, but multiplied by a thousand,” Trump said.
He also confirmed that a meeting with Europeans on Ukraine would take place on Saturday. However, according to Trump, the US has not yet decided whether to attend.
“We will attend if we think there is a good chance (of ending the war in Ukraine – Ed.). We don't want to waste a lot of time… We'll see whether we attend the meeting or not,” Trump said.
He also stated that if the war in Ukraine is not stopped, it could escalate into a third world war.
“These things end in World War III. And I said this the other day, I said, you know, everyone keeps playing these games. You'll end in World War III. And we don't want that to happen,” the US President emphasized.
