Trump said Iran had offered to resume negotiations and he had agreed to contact.
He stated this in a comment to The Atlantic.
“They want to talk, and I agreed to talk, so I will talk to them. They should have done this earlier. They should have given something that was very practical and easy to implement earlier. They waited too long,” the White House chief said.
Trump did not specify whether this means that Israel and the United States will stop strikes on Iran.
