Trump declared the US readiness to use force against Iran and called on Tehran to negotiate.
Trump said a “large armada” of US forces led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln is ready to use force against Iran.
He called on Tehran to negotiate.
“As in the case of Venezuela, the Navy is ready, capable, and, if necessary, able to quickly accomplish its mission—with force and violence. Let's hope Iran quickly comes to the negotiating table and agrees to a fair and mutually beneficial deal—without nuclear weapons—one that satisfies all parties. Time is running out, and it truly is of the essence,” the US President stated.
He says a possible attack this time would be “much more brutal” than last summer.
