Trump suggested that an agreement with Iran could be reached as early as Monday.
“I think there's a good chance tomorrow, negotiations are going on right now,” Fox News quotes the US President as saying.
He also threatened that the US could “blow everything up” and take control of Iranian oil if Tehran did not reach a deal soon.
Trump added that the US was sending weapons to Iranian protesters through the Kurds.
“We sent them a lot of weapons. We sent them through the Kurds,” Trump said, adding that he believed the Kurds ultimately kept the weapons.
