Trump accused Ukraine of attempting to interfere in the US elections by diverting funds.
He wrote that “the US intercepted Ukrainian government communications discussing a plot to funnel money toward Biden's reelection.”
He attached an article about this from Just the News to his post.
The publication claims that “newly declassified documents show that in 2022, Ukrainian officials discussed redirecting hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. tax money earmarked for green energy to Biden's 2024 election campaign.”
It was claimed that US intelligence intercepted such communications from the Ukrainian government back in 2022, but they were not investigated under Biden, and only now has Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard learned of them, and Just the News has received a declassified intelligence report.
“The Ukrainian government and unidentified U.S. government officials, through USAID in Kyiv, reportedly devised a plan to funnel hundreds of millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to finance an infrastructure project for Ukraine. This project was intended to serve as a cover for diverting approximately 90% of the allocated funds to the Democratic National Committee to fund Joe Biden's reelection campaign. They were confident that the project would initially be funded, although at some point in the future it would be deemed unnecessary and rejected. By then, the funds would already be committed and would be impossible to return or use for other purposes,” the report states.
