A resident of Costa Rica passed away on Mount Elbrus, situated in Kabardino-Balkaria.
According to reports, the guide informed officials about the fatality at a height of 5,200 meters.
He secured the deceased individual to himself and brought the body down. Emergency personnel have reached the location. The reason for the passing remains unclear.
