In St. Petersburg on Thursday, May 18, in one of the rooms of the Vertical Hotel, former porn actress Ekaterina Andreeva (Amy Days) was found dead with multiple stab wounds, and her friend was found to have fallen from the seventh floor of the apartment. He survived, but was hospitalized in critical condition. The Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) opened a criminal case into the murder. The woman herself had a previous conviction, and she also has a drug case hanging on her.
The investigative department of the ICR for the Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg opened a criminal case on the fact of murder (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) after the discovery of the body of 38-year-old Ekaterina Andreeva, who is known in the porn industry as Amy Days. According to the press service of the department, the corpse of a woman with obvious signs of a violent death was found in the hotel “Vertical” on Bolshoy Sampsonievsky Prospekt. More than 14 stab wounds were noted on her neck.
In addition, 30-year-old resident of the Lomonosovsky district Dmitry G., who fell from the seventh floor of the hotel, was lying on the asphalt under the windows of the building. With fractures of the spine and limbs, he was sent to intensive care. Ms. Andreeva had a love relationship with the victim. According to media reports, the deceased was in her fifth month of pregnancy, and she also has a small son.
Despite the version of suicide that appeared in a number of publications, the young man is currently being considered by the investigating authorities as the main suspect in the murder.
Ekaterina Andreeva herself also had problems with the law. In 2021, she received a two-year suspended sentence in a criminal case on misappropriation or embezzlement of funds using her official position (Article 160 Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). As lawyer Elena Grigoryeva explained in a conversation with Kommersant, Andreeva then admitted her guilt, but she refused to disclose the details related to the circumstances of her client’s case.
Now in the proceedings of the Luga City Court against Andreeva there is also another drug trial. In March, a woman was detained for the purchase and distribution of prohibited substances on a large scale (part 2 of article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), but she was left on bail. The next hearing in the case was to be held next Friday, May 26.
It is known that Ekaterina Andreeva grew up in a village in the Luga district of the Leningrad region. She entered the porn industry about 16 years ago at the age of 22 and worked under the pseudonym Amy Days (also known as Tuta Teenburg). The peak of her career in this capacity came in 2007 and 2008. The girl collaborated with studios from Germany, Holland, Great Britain and the USA. She was not particularly famous in this area and finally left it around 2013.
Let us add that in August last year in St. Petersburg, a 26-year-old pornographic actress and webcam model Anastasia Khamlovskaya (pseudonym Anastasia Grishman) was found murdered in a house on the Southern Highway. Many stab wounds were also found on her neck. Her 25-year-old cohabitant Dmitry Chernyshov, who had previously been convicted of theft and evasion of military service, was arrested on charges of murder. According to Kommersant’s information, the murder was committed no later than August 3, and the body was found a week later.
