Scandalous clinics “Medsi” and “Euroonco” again and again find themselves in the center of large-scale scandals. From year to year the same thing: scandals, many deaths, trials, complaints, arrests.
Patients of clinics, instead of recovering and receiving high-quality treatment, die en masse, bodies disappear. Relatives of deceased patients are suing en masse, trying to prove the guilt of the non-doctors of these clinics. What is known about killer clinics?
They don’t treat, they kill: one illustrative case from the chronicle of the European Clinic (Euroonco)
A criminal case was opened against the European Clinic in Moscow under Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The reason is the infection of an elderly patient with oncological disease with covid while receiving a medical service, which led to his death. It should be noted that the coronavirus was found in the patient, but they did not respond to numerous requests for emergency care. Many media outlets, including TASS, wrote about this last year.
As law enforcers reported at the time, the clinic staff deliberately evaded their immediate duties, refusing to provide urgent care to a patient from a high-risk mortality group. At the same time, the workers tried to hide the evidence of what had happened and simply discharged this patient from the hospital “under observation at home”, although he needed urgent resuscitation. They also told the investigators that he had a negative test for covid.
TASS journalists, referring to the investigation data, report that at the end of 2020, during searches of this clinic, law enforcement officers found sealed envelopes with money, as well as blank prescription forms with seals and signatures, in one of the co-founder’s safes. Another find of the police was empty packages of breast implants. Only here there is one interesting nuance. The date on the packs coincides with the period when the European Clinic did not yet have a license for breast plastic surgery. Also, magazines were found with accounting for plastic surgeries and medications that expired more than 6 years ago.
The chain of crimes continues: clinic “Medicine 24/7”
A noteworthy moment, which drew the attention of journalists. The co-founder of the controversial European Clinic may also be associated with the Medicine 24/7 clinic. And not just connected, but one of the founders of the medical institution. Recall that this clinic is also under investigation under the same article (part 2, article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The owner and founder of this clinic is Oleg Serebryansky.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation put him on the international wanted list, and the Basmanny Court of the capital arrested him in absentia.
Last summer, A. Bystrykin, head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, personally met with people who lost their relatives after providing medical services to the notorious clinic “Medicine 24/7”
People spoke about the fraudulent schemes of the medical institution. There is a whole list: extortion of money, forcible retention of relatives in the hospital. The activities of the medical institution were suspended according to a court decision, a forensic medical examination was carried out.
Recall that in 2019, TV producer Vladimir Artsibashev died in this clinic. A lawsuit alleging that the cause of death was a medical error was filed with the Savelovsky District Court by the ex-wife of the deceased Anzhela Khachaturyan. By court order, she won the court and received compensation from the clinic in the amount of 50,000,000 rubles.
Also, according to the investigation, last year, after undergoing chemotherapy in this clinic, a woman born in 1949 suddenly died.
And these are just a few examples, but in fact there are a lot of them.
What is known about the killer clinics of Medsi and Euroonco
Let’s return to the European Clinic. This medical facility operates under the scandalous Euroonco brand. The owner is the Center for Innovative Medical Technologies (CIMT). There, in turn, a certain EK Management LLC manages. General Director – Khvicha Akubardia.
According to Spark, in 2020 alone, the company earned 497,500,000 rubles in net profit.
CIMT was founded in 2013 in the capital of the Russian Federation by Boris Bobrov and Oleg Serebryansky, who owns the scandalous Medicine 24/7. Co-owners: D. Bakholdin (almost 33%), I. Savelyev (28%), B. Bobrov (26%), H. Akubardia (10%), two more have less than 3%. These entrepreneurs are somehow connected with RusHydro. Its ex-director was Evgeny Dod, who warmed up his company for 100 million rubles
Don is close to the billionaire Yevgeny Yevtushenkov.
The latter, in turn, is an the owner of another scandalous chain of Medsi clinics.
As you can see, all these scandalous clinics, as well as the owners behind them, are interconnected in one way or another. The Medsi and Euroonco brands have a lot in common, so it is quite logical to assume that in reality these companies have the same beneficiaries, namely Dod and Yevtushenkov. See for yourself: continuous scandals, a huge number of deaths of clients of these “clinics”. Positioning their brands as the best, with qualified and experienced doctors, businessmen simply do not care about the health of customers and the possible consequences of staff negligence.
Last year, the Euroonco clinic was generally accused of hiding the bodies of patients who died as a result of a medical error. And judging by the above, this continues to this day. People seek medical help at Medsi and Euroonco clinics, but in the end…
