The United States used the new Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) in combat for the first time during attacks on Iranian territory.

The publication states that experts identified the missile in a video released by US Central Command, which captured the launch of a warhead using HIMARS rocket systems.
According to the US military, the new missile's range exceeds 500 kilometers.
The PrSM was developed by Lockheed Martin to replace the MGM-140 ATACMS missile. Unlike its predecessor, which had a range of up to 300 kilometers, the new system can engage targets at greater distances while maintaining high accuracy and a lighter warhead weight of approximately 91 kilograms.
Serial production of the PrSM family of missiles began in July last year.
