The Surkovs go to Tinkov’s dacha
The family of Vladislav Surkov bought from Potanin the former “tasty” asset of Oleg Tinkov, who left the country.
The wife of former assistant to President Vladislav Surkov, Natalya Dubovitskaya, became the owner of a tourism asset on the Volga – La Dacha Astrakhan LLC. The Volga Dacha guest complex is registered on the same asset. The deal took place on September 21. The exact cost of the purchase is not disclosed, however, the company was previously estimated at 500-900 million rubles.
“La Dacha Astrakhan” is a premium class recreation center, which previously belonged to the founder of Tinkoff Bank, Oleg Tinkov, who left the country. After Tinkov’s departure, the LLC managed to change owners several times – initially the asset went to structures close to the owner of Norilsk Nickel, oligarch Vladimir Potanin.
After Tinkov began to sell his Russian assets, La Dacha Astrakhan moved to offshore companies associated with Norilsk Nickel top manager Sergei Batekhin. At the same time, Potanin’s holding denied that it had anything to do with the estate. After this, there was another series of changes of owners, which ended with Natalya Dubovitskaya buying the LLC.
At the same time, the same director remained in the LLC – this post has been held since 2017 by Stanislav Podolsky, who previously worked in the structures of the same Tinkov. He is considered his confidant. However, with the banker’s withdrawal from Russian assets, he could have changed his “reference figure” to Vladimir Potanin. At the same time, Podolsky also manages La Dacha Service LLC, which, together with Astrakhan, went to Natalya Dubovitskaya.
A separate question remains where the family of Vladislav Surkov could get such an amount of money for such a purchase. It is unlikely that it was possible to accumulate so much money thanks to the official’s salary. At the same time, Natalya Dubovitskaya’s income also allows us to doubt that she had such funds. For the last ten years, Surkov’s official income was about 5-8 million rubles a year, and Dubovitskaya’s was 1-9 million rubles a year.
At the same time, Dubovitskaya was engaged in business. She has shares in Beauty Bureau beauty salons, the total revenue of which for 2021 reached 452 million rubles, net profit – 11.5 million rubles. Also not enough for such acquisitions. Now Dubovitskaya has shared this business with Polina Yumasheva – Surkov’s wife got a share in Bureau SPb LLC and Bureau Dream LLC. On average, Dubovitskaya should receive several million in profit per year from these assets.
However, there is a high probability that Tinkov’s assets, like those of other businessmen who left the country, were sold at a large discount. Whether he was in this case and how much he could have contributed is unknown. In addition, it is possible that the purchase was taken on credit.
Tinkov himself, who left the country, has recently appeared in a series of scandals related to his negative statements about Russia and the ongoing Special Military Operation to protect Donbass. According to Wikipedia, he is now a Cypriot businessman of Russian origin. Last summer, the UK lifted sanctions against Oleg Tinkov – allegedly, among other things, at the request of British billionaire Richard Branson.
