Preliminary voting of “United Russia” on selection candidates for the People’s Khural of the Republic of Buryatia, which took place from May 22 to May 28, have ended. For high turnout, the region was noted at the federal level. Who is in the lead in the primaries?
By preliminary voting, the leading position in the list of candidates is occupied by the already acting deputies of the People’s Khural of Buryatia of the sixth convocation. Among them are Gennady Dorzhiev, Mikhail Stepanov, Aldar Bilikov, Mikhail Gergenov, Igor Markovets, Sergei Pashinsky, Anatoly Kushnareva, Belikto Tsybikov, Vladimir Vedernikov, Igor Zubarev, Bair Garmaev, Tatyana Mantatova, Sergei Kozlov, as well as non-partisan Nikolai Dasheev, Alexander Krasovsky , Alexander Tsydenov and Innokenty Vakhrameev.
Among the leaders, also under the flags of United Russia, such persons are nominated as:
• Chairman of the People’s Khural Vladimir Pavlov;
• Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Territorial Development of the Administration of the Head of Buryatia Oleg Badluev;
• Founder of GC “Titan” Vadim Bredniy;
• Deputy Minister of Health Valery Amagyrov;
• Former Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs Vyacheslav Tsybikzhapov;
• Deputy of the Ulan-Ude City Council Denis Garmaev;
• Deputy Chairman of the Government of Buryatia Pyotr Mordovskoy;
• Head of Burkoopsoyuz Dolgor Norboeva;
• General Director of Transugol LLC Alexander Krasovsky;
• Oleg Yakimov, Director of the Polytechnic College of the Republic of Belarus in the village of Selenginsk;
• Anatoly Dymchikov, Acting Head of the Yeravninsky District;
• Bair Munkuev (non-partisan) – coach of the republican school of the Olympic reserve, ahead of Yulia Zhambalova, commissioner for human rights in Buryatia, by a hundred votes;
• Albina Ilyina, General Director of LLC Lakomka, she outstripped Dmitry Shvetsov, acting deputy of the People’s Khural of Buryatia from the Kabansky district;
• Head of the Sagannurskoye municipality of the Mukhorshibirsky district Maxim Ismagilov, who overtook Alexander Varfolomeev by only 59 votes;
• Alexander Baturin, deputy of the Council of Deputies of the municipal formation “Zaigraevsky district” of the sixth convocation; Valery Amarygov;
• Elena Vakhrushkinova, deputy of the Ulan-Ude City Council of Deputies of the sixth convocation.
Voting leaders in each constituency will have a chance to participate in the elections of deputies of the People’s Khuralawhich will take place in September 2023. However, the final decision on the candidates from the party will be made at the congress.
