The prosecutor’s office found an extra 25 million rubles from a Kazan policeman

The Privolzhsky District Court will consider the claim of the Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan against the head of the Kazan police department “Zarechensky” Taras Doroshkevich. In 2020, they already tried to accuse him of the educational “execution” of a subordinate, but the criminal case was closed. Now the supervisory authority has found a discrepancy in its expenses and income – from 2020 to 2022 they amounted to 25 million rubles. They want to recover such an amount from him in favor of the state. Prosecutor’s office: Registered expensive cars for a student son

Today it became known that the prosecutor’s office of Tatarstan demanded to seize property worth 25 million rubles from an employee of the republican police and turn it into federal property. Relevant information appeared on the website of the department in the afternoon.

“In order to avoid declaring property, a police officer registered expensive cars for a student son who does not have official income. At the same time, the man could not confirm the income for which the property was purchased, ”the press service commented dryly, without naming names.

It turned out that the lawsuit was filed against the head of the Kazan police department “Zarechensky” Taras Doroshkevich and his family – two sons and wife. The document was received by the Privolzhsky District Court on January 13, at the same time it was submitted for consideration to judge Viktoria Chibisova, the meeting has not yet been scheduled, but data on the progress of the claim is already displayed on the website.

So, judging by the text, the lawsuit was filed by the prosecutor of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikov himself. In addition to the colonel, the defendants are three more of his namesakes – Gleb Tarasovich, David Tarasovich and Olga Nikolaevna. The Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan is listed as a third party.

This, judging by the release of the prosecutor’s office, is about a house, a land plot and five cars that were purchased in 2020-2022. Sources reveal the two most expensive of them are the expensive BMW X5 and X6 SUVs.

Who is mr. Doroshkevich

Police Colonel Doroshkevich is 44 years old. He comes from Odessa, but most of his life is connected with Kazan. In 2001, he graduated from the Kazan Social and Legal Institute, after which he immediately entered the service in the authorities.

He started as an investigator of the police department “Yapeeva” of the investigative department at the Vakhitovsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Kazan. He rose to the chair of the chief only after 10 years, heading the OP “Yudino”. In January 2014, he was transferred to the Zarechensky OP, after another 1.5 years – to the Industrial OP, from there, after 2.5 years – again to Zarechensky. There, in June 2018, he even got sick of his health, and Doroshkevich could count on resignation for health reasons, but the police colonel decided to continue his service.

Note that the members of the Doroshkevich family lead a rather closed lifestyle. There is almost no information about them in open sources, and all their pages on social networks are closed. The correspondent of “BUSINESS Online” managed to get through to one of the sons of the policeman – 19-year-old Gleb Doroshkevich. However, after listening to the correspondent, he refused to comment and hung up.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan said that they were conducting their own check, the basis for it was a letter from the prosecutor’s office in the Republic of Tatarstan. The inspection was scheduled on November 29 last year in accordance with the Federal Law “On Controlling the Compliance of Expenses of Persons Holding Public Positions and Other Persons with Their Income.”

“On December 30, 2022, based on the results of an audit, the police officers revealed signs of a discrepancy between income and expenses from the head of one of the police departments of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs department for the city of Kazan. On January 3, materials regarding this official were sent to the initiator of the request for a decision in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, ”the department noted.

How Doroshkevich got into a video scandal and how it all ended

The surname of Colonel Doroshkevich thundered in the republic in September 2020. The head of the Kazan police department “Zarechensky” was at the center of the scandal. Then a video was widely circulated on social networks with footage of a man in a police uniform shooting a woman with an air rifle in the corridor of the police department. On the video, a woman’s voice was heard saying, “Don’t shoot yet,” followed by a shot. The video broke off at this point. The authors of the video in social networks stated that the captured footage showed the corridors of OP No. 3 Zarechensky, and Doroshkevich was suspected of a man with a gun, the interrogator of the department, Lieutenant Aigul Khakimova, was at gunpoint. At the same time, it was not possible to find out exactly when the filmed incident occurred, neither then nor now.

The prosecutor’s office then became interested in the video, despite the fact that there were no victims or statements on the incident. The video recording became the reason for an official check and initiation of a criminal case against Doroshkevich on grounds of abuse of power (Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) – he was threatened with up to 4 years in prison, he was suspended during the investigation. Subsequently, it turns out that the check and the initiated case will end in nothing, the reason for this was that the investigation failed to establish the time and date of the crime captured on video. Doroshkevich returned to work after this story and in recent years, as they say, did not shine much in the public field.

True, speaking of Doroshkevich’s “career”, it would be strange to recall only negative stories. In the summer of the year before last, a police colonel personally prevented the robbery of 8.5 thousand rubles from the Kazan chapel. The head of the OP was driving to work when he suddenly noticed a strange scene: a man was running away on Clara Zetkin Street. The policeman quickly sensed something was wrong and chased the suspicious man, who later turned out to be the robber.
