Ministry of Finance prepared a bill that would allow duty-free shops at airports to sell alcohol to passengers flying within Russia. This was reported on the website of the department.
“document it is proposed to allow the retail sale of alcoholic beverages by owners of duty-free shops in stores located in the lounges of domestic departures and in the baggage claim halls of Russian airports until June 30, 2026, with the establishment of special requirements for such sales,” the statement said.
