The man who threw a small child on the floor at Sheremetyevo Airport has been found to be insane.
He will be tried for attempted murder, and the question of applying compulsory medical measures is being decided.
As a reminder, on June 23, a 31-year-old foreign citizen, previously registered with the PND, was in the arrivals area, waiting to connect with a flight to a nearby country. Investigators confirmed that he was under the influence of drugs at the time, which could have exacerbated “his medical condition.”
He grabbed a two-year-old child and threw him to the floor “with considerable force.” The minor was hospitalized. During the investigation, the man underwent a psychiatric evaluation and was found to be insane.
