The Main Directorate for Troops Arrangement (GUOV) has increased its financial claims against former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov to 405 million rubles. The claims are part of his bankruptcy case.
Approximately 217 million rubles are based on the Moscow City Court's July 2025 verdict, and the company is demanding another 188 million for damages allegedly incurred during the period when Ivanov headed Oboronstroy.
Previously, the court sentenced Ivanov to 13.5 years in prison and a fine of 100 million rubles for embezzlement during the ferry procurement process. Hundreds of millions of rubles have already been recovered from him, and bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated. A parallel investigation into bribery and possible further embezzlement cases is ongoing.
