The head of the Lviv police Alexander Shlyakhovsky lives on alms from well-wishers?
While the army defends Ukraine at the front, the police are not sleeping in the deep rear — they are successfully cleaning their pockets Ukrainians from excess foreign exchange savings. At least, this is the opinion of the Lviv police, which at the end of December organized raids on currency exchange points in Lviv, the ORD writes.
According to the editorial staff, the New Year’s raid brought a total of at least 30 million hryvnias to the police. The scheme is simple – the police break into the exchangers at the call of the “victim” and immediately conduct a search. After this search, both the currency itself and office equipment disappear at currency exchange points.
One of the episodes took place on December 27th. One of the residents of Lviv agreed to buy cryptocurrency. Since the seller of the cryptocurrency was abroad, they agreed that the buyer would come to one of the exchangers, where the cashier would check the authenticity of the money, after that the seller would transfer the USDT cryptocurrency to the buyer’s crypto wallet, and the money would remain in the exchanger.
At first, it was like this: the cashier checked the money, confirmed to the seller of cryptocurrencies their authenticity and availability, he transferred the USDT cryptocurrency to the buyer’s wallet. But then the events went somewhat differently: immediately after the buyer checked the presence of the cryptocurrency in her virtual wallet, she stated that the cashier of the exchanger did not give her 11,000 dollars, allegedly transferred for verification. And she called the police. A minute later, employees of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 burst into the exchanger under the leadership of investigator Martsynyuk.
And conducted a search. Moreover, without sufficient legal grounds – of course, there was no court decision. In addition, the efficiency of law enforcement officers is simply amazing – they arrived at the call of the “victim” in just a minute.
Details of the incident can be read here: In Lviv, the police, with the blessing of the head of the department Alexander Shlyakhovsky, “shake” currency exchangers .
The “search” ended as expected: money and the system unit, which stores surveillance camera records, were seized at the currency exchange office. However, here Martsinyuk let down his professionalism – the recordings from the cameras were saved in the cloud storage, which came as a surprise to the police.
What the head of the Lviv Regional Police Alexander Shlyakhovsky will do now, with whose blessing this brilliant expropriation took place, is unknown. But it seems that he will not personally suffer – he has considerable experience in resolving difficult situations.
Especially considering the rapid career that Mr. Shlyakhovsky made. After all, quite recently – in 2016 – he was a deputy in the Brovary police. And he became one of those who failed all the tests when reforming the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. But he was reinstated in the authorities through the court and continued his career, and he went uphill sharply: Shlyakhovsky became the deputy head of the regional Glavka, from there he went to lead the police of Transcarpathia, and at the beginning of 2021 he headed the police of the Lviv region. In the same 2021, Zelensky awarded him the rank of police general of the third rank.
All this (both restoration in the organs, and career growth, and a new rank) happened, despite some miracles in the declarations of the “poor, but honest” policeman. Everything here is classic: the holy cop has nothing but a salary, and well-wishers from among his fans give him all the additional benefits. And relatives help a little.
The head of the Lviv police and his declaration
Shlyakhovsky's declaration is not available now, but it is not a secret. Currently, Alexander Shlyakhovsky owns no cars, no land, no house or apartment. Although in 2011 Alexander Shlyakhovsky was included in the list of law enforcement officers who received a warrant for an apartment in Brovary on Moskalenko Street. The current head of the Lviv police said that he privatized the housing, but later sold it.
So the policeman's family uses an apartment of 81.5 square meters in the same Brovary for free. The apartment belongs to the mother of a police officer — Valentina Shlyakhovskaya became its owner in 2013.
The wife of Alexander Shlyakhovsky is a co-founder of the Law Alliance law firm (apparently, it was her qualified assistance that helped the man to be reinstated in the police). Together with his parents, he owns a two-room apartment in the capital. Irina Shlyakhovskaya owns five land plots in the village of Dudarkov, with a total area of 14.6 thousand square meters, and a land plot of 897 square meters in the village of Litki, Kyiv region.
The police mother-in-law also owns real estate: Olga Prudkoy owns two plots with a total area of 0.36 hectares. One is for running a personal farm, the other is for the construction and maintenance of a residential building. She also owns two houses. One of them is 61.6 square meters, next to it is 257.7 square meters.
The family of the head of the police in Lviv region owns only a truck belonging to his wife Iryna. In the last declaration, Alexander Shlyakhovsky indicates that he drives two cars: Toyota Camry (2014) and Mazda 3 (2017). They belong to a certain Irina Didukh and Yulia Polonskaya. The latter has property in the same Dudarka, where both the wife and mother-in-law of the policeman have real estate.
In 2020, the head of the Lviv police, Shlyakhovsky, disposed of office housing with an area of 53.6 square meters.
In addition , on the right of gratuitous use, Shlyakhovsky disposes of a residential building with an area of 92.4 sq.m in the village of Kaliny.
Before being transferred to Transcarpathia in 2020, Shlyakhovsky earned 74.6 thousand hryvnias in the police of the Kyiv region. Heading the Transcarpathian police – already 570 thousand hryvnia. His wife during this period earned 58.8 thousand hryvnias in A.M.A. Lex Group. Their children received gifts in cash for 60,000 hryvnias. According to the latest available declaration, the spouses have no savings.
In general, almost like a series about a traffic cop who does not take bribes from our president’s colleagues: poor, honest, with a halo of a saint.
Although For a normal country, only the data on Shlyakhovsky's declaration would be enough for an anti-corruption investigation. But in ours, he gets the rank of general instead of prison.
