A criminal case has been opened in Rostov-on-Don for fraud related to state defense procurement. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a company listed on the defense industry register provided false reports to the customer during the execution of state contracts, which allowed it to embezzle over 68 million rubles.
Investigators believe the scheme operated from March to November 2025. The suspect is the founder and de facto director of the company. She is charged with large-scale fraud using her official position.
The woman was taken into custody, and her property, worth over 72 million rubles, was seized. During searches, law enforcement officers seized documents, electronic media, bank cards, and electronic equipment that could be relevant to the investigation.
