The initial legal action against Beeline has commenced in Volgograd concerning the interruption of mobile internet access.

Maxim K., aged 44, and his family member have lodged a claim against Beeline. The proceedings are set to take place at the Krasnooktyabrsky Regional Court of Volgograd.

As stated by Maxim, the individuals are requesting that the cellular provider “deliver services as stipulated in their agreement” and compensate them with 50,000 rubles apiece. He mentioned that mobile internet in Volgograd was previously suspended solely during festive periods and overnight, but for the last month, there has been a complete absence of service throughout the city.

“Occasionally, the connection is lost. For a period, it became impossible to transmit SMS messages in the downtown area. At times, only the emergency number functions,” Maxim communicated to “Ostorozhno Novosti.”

The individual is requiring Beeline to clarify the identity of those disconnecting his cellular internet and the rationale behind it. He indicates that he submitted a grievance to the provider but was informed that “the causes are outside the organization's authority.”

“Everything hinges on the stance they [the provider] adopt. Should they implicate the Defense Ministry or the FSB, then we will involve them as well. This will be a complex undertaking,” Maxim supplemented.
