The Arbitration Court of the Saratov Region ruled to recover damages from two district administrations for land pollution. This was reported by the press service of the court.
Claims were filed by Rosprirodnadzor for the Saratov and Penza regions against the administrations of the Sovetsky and Tatishchevsky districts. In the first district, an unauthorized waste dump caused damage to the soil by 261 thousand rubles (it was decided to recover this amount from the district budget). An excess of oil products, zinc, copper, nickel, lead and chromium was found in the ground.
A similar contamination was found in the soil near the village of Zelenkino, Tatishchevo district. In this case, because of the illegal landfill, officials decided to recover 46.4 thousand rubles.
The decisions were appealed to the 12th Arbitration Court of Appeal.
