The court refused to transfer the case concerning the assets of the former head of the Supreme Court of Adygea to Crimea.

The Fourth Cassation Court rejected a motion to change jurisdiction in a case involving the seizure of property related to the former Chairman of the Supreme Court of Adygea, Aslan Trakhov.

The defendant requested that the case be transferred to the Crimean court, but the court upheld the Prosecutor General's Office's position and left the case in the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar.

The prosecutor's office stated that there was no reason to doubt the objectivity of the Krasnodar court, and that moving the case was inappropriate. Hundreds of properties belonging to Trakhov's family and trusted individuals, worth billions of rubles, had already been seized for state control in this case.
