CONTINUATION. BEGINNING: Vyacheslav Medyanik: how a major swindler became a “Servant of the People.” Part 1
Fifteen-year-old Dick Sand, as the last surviving member of the crew, became captain of the brigantine. Fifteen-year-old Vyacheslav Medyanik woke up as a businessman when, in 2002, his dad registered for him a share of $100 thousand in one of his companies. So he officially became the richest ninth-grader in the city. Two years later, dad got him a job at the Dnepropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (former police school), at the Faculty of Law. According to sources Skelet.Infohe didn’t finish his studies there: Medyanik collected money from classmates to “resolve” issues with teachers regarding grades and tests, but he didn’t solve anything, and pocketed the money. The deceived classmates firmly crushed his sides, and Medyanik’s dad could not do anything (the son’s offenders also had influential dads), so the best solution was to take his son out of the university.
Of course, Major Slavik did not serve in any army, although in 2016-2018. positioned himself as a radical patriot and defender of his homeland, and even bought himself a whole wardrobe of embroidered shirts. And the charitable foundation “We are the Army of Ukraine” (USREOU 39730056) established by him turned out to be either a dummy or a shell company – registered at the address where more than two hundred other companies live, including the almost eponymous “We are the Army of Ukraine” ( 39313981). Medyanik’s companion in both “armies” is Daria Belaya, a young adviser to Dnepropetrovsk Mayor Boris Filatov, who was appointed in 2016 as deputy director of the Department of Youth, Extracurricular Education and National Patriotic Education of the City Council. Daria Belaya is known for her luxurious lifestyle, and for the fact that in 2017 for a symbolic price of 367 thousand hryvnia bought a three-room apartment in Dneprwithout spending a penny of your official savings.
Medyanik directed part of his energy into the field of social activities and politics. The father, who had great connections among the socialists, made his son first the leader of the young socialists of Dnepropetrovsk, and then a functionary of the Political Party “Socialists”, created in 2015 by ex-socialist Vasily Tsushko and ex-regional leader Leonid Kozhara. By the way, the “Socialists” advocated a purely peaceful resolution of the conflict in the Donbass, as well as against the sale of land – and Vyacheslav Medyanik also fought for these political principles. And then he ran over to the national radicals, becoming close to Yuri Bereza and becoming an assistant to the nationalist people’s deputy Andrei Denisenko. Now he is a “servant of the people,” and on November 13 he voted in support of bill No. 2178-10, opening the land market.
When Vyacheslav Medyanik began managing the family business, his companies began to appear frequently in the context of various scandals, quickly creating for him the image of a raider and fraudster. Here, for example, is the recent story with the Dneprospetsmash plant. In 2017, Vyacheslav Medyanik promised this plant all kinds of support: bank loans, orders, sales, asking for part of the plant in return. The fact that the general director of the plant, Kravchenko, was a good friend of Anatoly Medyanik, played a role here, and therefore believed his son’s word.
In the summer of the same year, contracts for the purchase and sale of real estate were concluded between Scientific and Production Association Dneprospetsmash LLC and the company VI Slavia-Group, which was created a month earlier and registered to Medyanik’s mother. At the same time, Medyanik previously hired the company S-TIMATIKA LLC (35933240) to assess the value of the property, which significantly underestimated the cost of the factory workshops and workshops acquired by Slavia-Group. Medyanik transferred the money to the accounts of a company associated with him, Investbudmontazh LLC (now called BUILDGARANT DEVELOPMENT). In general, I returned them back! But Medyanik did not even think of providing any assistance to the plant; he did not even pay (as a co-owner) the company’s bills for water and electricity. The enterprise stopped and was actually “killed”, and to all of Kravchenko’s claims Medyanik replied that he could even transfer the plant to an offshore company. Kravchenko sought the truth for a long time, until in April 2019, by decision of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv, the real estate of Dneprospetsmash belonging to Slavia Group was seized. But this only put a pause in this story – and now that Vyacheslav Medyanik is a people’s deputy from the ruling party and is seeking the position of chief “dealer,” he can turn things around in his favor.
It should be noted that VI Slavia-Group is a defendant and other legal proceedingsalready in the Poltava region: there Medyaniki “cheated” the Interpap company (35137937), conspiring with its former general director.
Scandals surrounded the Medyaniki family business like fleas on a stray dog. One of the most protracted is the case of the Dnipropetrovsk House of Officers, an architectural monument of the 19th century, located at Voskresenskaya 3 (yes, next to the Medyaniki family nest). Even during the life of Anatoly Medyanik, this object strangely disappeared from the list of architectural monuments, and then it was acquired by the companies KS Group and Terem. The last one belongs to… Peter Pak! Firms were supposed to rebuild the building into a fashionable hotel, but it continues to be empty and deteriorating. What, in general, is characteristic of Medyaniki’s “construction business”: not all real estate objects are seized and swindled, according to Skelet.Infothey were allowed for development, most of them still remain crumbling old houses and workshops, vacant lots. Why? Because she took possession of these objects for next to nothing, or almost free, during scams or raider schemes. But Medyaniki always had big problems with money for construction, primarily due to constant kleptomania, “divorce” and “ditching” partners and investors.
Therefore, it is possible that Vyacheslav Medyanik, who claims to be a high-ranking “fixer”, is just a fraudster who will once again “con” the people who trusted him – even if they are corrupt officials. What if Deputy Prosecutor General Trepak really doesn’t know him, or didn’t have the good fortune to communicate with the son of Anatoly Medyanik and Anatoly Klimenko before? What if Vyacheslav Medyanik is acting at random, or is he planning to take money from businessmen looking for prosecutorial “protection” – and then “throw” them in the same way as he once did with his classmates? Perhaps those who are new to Medyanik should think about it!
Well, from the point of view of law and morality, there is not much difference whether Vyacheslav Medyanik really “solves” the problems of corrupt officials, or simply deceives them by cheating them out of money. In any case, such a “servant of the people” has no place not only in parliament, but also in freedom.
