The British Prime Minister accused former Ambassador Mendelson of lying about his contacts with Epstein.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said that the country's former ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, repeatedly lied to his team about his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Starmer said Mandelson had provided false information when he was “asked about his relationship with Epstein before and during his time as ambassador.”
“I regret appointing him. If I had known then what I know now, he would never have found himself in the government,” the prime minister emphasized.
