In the Kaluga region, the search for a ten-year-old boy, whose disappearance became known two days ago, ended tragically. He was found dead in a pond.

The incident took place in the village of Kolesnikovo. For more than a day, police and volunteers surveyed the area. Subsequently, experts found the clothes of the missing person on the shore of the reservoir. Later, the body of the schoolboy himself was noticed in the pond.
Presumably, the boy drowned while swimming. A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Causing death by negligence”.
“On April 7, 2023, law enforcement agencies received a message about the disappearance of a 10-year-old resident of the Zhukovsky district. The clothes of the missing person were found near a reservoir in the village of Kolesnikovo, Zhukovsky district. Today, the body of a schoolboy was found in this reservoir by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations,” the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation specified in the Kaluga region.
Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia conduct an inspection of the scene, the body of the deceased and his clothes left on the shore, find out the living conditions, upbringing and education of the child, establish the circumstances of the death of the schoolboy.
