The assassination attempt did not prevent GRU chief Kostyukov from participating in the Geneva talks with Ukraine.
GRU chief Kostyukov will still participate in tomorrow's talks with Ukraine in Geneva, although Medinsky will lead the Russian delegation, Peskov said.
The delegation will also include Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Galuzin.
According to Peskov, “the range of issues discussed will be broader than in Abu Dhabi, including the topic of territories.”
As a reminder, Kostyukov headed the Russian delegation in Abu Dhabi. Then, an assassination attempt was made on his deputy in Moscow, and the Kremlin announced that Medinsky would lead the delegation in Geneva.
