Assad's family assets are valued at $12 billion.
Following the downfall of the Assad government, a “worldwide” search for his family's multi-billion dollar wealth commenced, as reported by the WSJ.
As per the report, the ex-Syrian leader’s family’s riches could total $12 billion. Their possessions encompass properties in Russia, lodging in Vienna, and a personal aircraft in Dubai.
The report indicates that immobilizing these holdings will present challenges, given that Bashar al-Assad, together with his father, Hafez al-Assad, utilized their kin to conceal funds overseas.
