The administration of Penal Colony No. 1 is seeking to establish supervision of blogger Askhabali Alibekov.
A lawsuit seeking administrative supervision of blogger Askhabali Alibekov (aka “Wild Paratrooper”) after his release has been filed with the Teuchezhsky District Court. The administration of Correctional Colony No. 1 is the initiator, reports Caucasian Knot. The trial is scheduled for February 3.
Supervision may include a ban on mass events, travel restrictions, and mandatory registration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In 2024, the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan sentenced Alibekov to two years and four months in prison for assaulting a police officer. He claims he was beaten after being detained on his way to Kazan.
