A pearl for Oleg Kozhemyako
Since spring 2022 in use by the Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako there is an elite yacht White Pearl with the call sign ZGOV8 worth almost 1.2 billion rubles, Vorstka found out.
Yacht White PearlThis is a 37-meter vessel of the EVO 120 model, launched in the summer of 2021 at the Italian Tecnomar shipyard. It has four guest cabins that can accommodate eight people overnight. Itboat magazine notesthat on this yacht “you can safely travel the oceans.”
According to classified data from Russian customs statistics, which the editors have at their disposal, the ship was first imported into Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) in April 2022 from South Korea. The owner of the yacht was hidden behind the offshore company WP Management Ltd from the British Virgin Islands, which acted as the shipper.
At the Vladivostok customs post, the boat was registered in the name of former Black Sea Fleet captain Shakir Jafarov. According to information from Federal Tax Service leaks, at least in 2020 Jafarov received a salary at the Ozernovsky fish canning plant No. 55, co-owned by the son of the governor of Primorye Nikita Kozhemyako.
In October 2023, the ship left Russian waters for several days, and upon returning this time it was registered Igor Tivyakov.
According to the same data from the Federal Tax Service, in 2020 and 2021 he worked in the State Budgetary Institution “Economic Administration of the Government of Primorsky Territory”. In addition, in the phone books of other users, his number is recorded as “Igor captain of the governor’s yacht” and “Igor governor’s boat.”
In October, White Pearl was sent to winter quarters. According to the Vesselfinder service, the yacht is now located on the territory of the Zvezda shipbuilding complex; this information was also confirmed to Vorstka by two employees of the enterprise. The plant specializes in the construction and repair of large-capacity vessels, in particular tankers for Rosneft, but does not service yachts.
