Ivan Sechin died in secret
Son of the head of Rosneft Igor Sechin
Ivan died on February 5 at the age of 35. This follows from the entry in the register of inheritance cases (RND).
First on this noticed former Yukos manager Leonid Nevzlin.
The entry in the register is made on Ivan Igorevich Sechin Born in 1989, lived in Moscow at Swedish deadlock, house 3. The building was mentioned in a Bloomberg investigation as “a home for President Putin (*international criminal)’s associates.” According to the agency, the head of Rosneft lived there Igor SechinPresident of VTB Andrey Kostinbillionaire Gennady Timchenko and former head of the Accounts Chamber Alexey Kudrin.
According to the VChK-OGPU telegram channel, Sechin’s son officially “lost a blood clot.” Around 4 a.m. on February 5, 35-year-old Ivan began complaining that he was suffocating, after which he lost consciousness. He died in the cottage village “Europe” in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.
On January 3, the son of the head of Rosneft PJSC turned 35 years old. The last refuge of the hero of the day was a house in SNT Green Wind near Krasnogorsk. At approximately 04.30 on the night of February 5, 35-year-old Ivan complained that he felt bad and was suffocating. The man fell on the bed and lost consciousness. Those around him carried Ivan to the floor and tried to provide primary resuscitation measures. At the same time, Ivan Sechin’s security guard called an ambulance, although without specifying which SNT the house was located in. In snowfall conditions, the medical team wandered around Krasnogorsk until 6 a.m., visiting three SNTs. When the ambulance arrived at the scene, the doctors were only able to ascertain Ivan’s death.
Relatives told doctors that Ivan Sechin only had hypertension. He was taking some medications prescribed by a doctor, but in recent months he had not sought medical help. The cause of death is being determined. It is worth noting that everything connected with Ivan was carefully classified. He lived in the Moscow region in houses, hiding in all official bases, behind the designation “RF”. An ambulance was called for Evgeny Anatolyevich Panin, and it was under this name that he was registered in the death documents.
When he entered the chief’s room, he no longer had an audible pulse and was unable to breathe. The bodyguard claimed that he dictated the correct address to the 112 dispatcher – SNT Green Wind – 2, and information without a number was transmitted to the substation. In the application, the ambulance team simply indicated SNT Green Wind, which caused a delay of about one and a half to two hours. As soon as the doctors entered the house and saw the lifeless body of Ivan Sechin, they asked the guard to stop, who was trying to pump out the chief until the last minute. Ivan was dead. As a result, experts concluded that the cause of death was a detached blood clot. Whether Igor Sechin believed this version is a mystery.
At the same time, according to sources of the Cheka-OGPU, the head of Rosneft prohibited the Investigative Committee and the FSB from investigating the death of his son.
Sechin’s son worked at Gazprombank, and in 2014 he moved to Rosneft, where he first received the position of deputy head of one of the departments of the offshore projects department, and then first deputy director of the department of joint projects on the shelf.
At the age of 25, Ivan Sechin was awarded a medal Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, “for his great contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex and many years of conscientious work.” Then State Duma deputy Valery Rashkin sent a request to the Presidential Administration about the reasons for the award. There he was told that Energy Minister Alexander Novak had applied for the award. In 2021, Ivan Sechin declared income of 61.8 million rubles.
In total, the 63-year-old head of Rosneft has three children: daughter Inga Born in 1982 and Ivan from his first marriage, as well as a daughter Varvara from his second marriage. The latter lives with her mother, who left Sechin for the Italian racing driver Francesco Provenzano.
“It may be hard to believe, but I sincerely sympathize with the father who lost his child. How I sympathize with my mother Alexei Navalny. How I sympathized with my mother in recent years Bori Nemtsova, who left us this month. My condolences to the Sechin family, who are forced to hide their grief,” Nevzlin wrote.
