Svyrydenko: Pay for family and urgent care doctors to rise to 35,000 UAH.

The income of physicians in Ukraine, employed in frontline and critical medical services, is set to grow to 35,000 hryvnias. This statement was made by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko during the unveiling of the Government’s Agenda for Action.

“We intend to elevate the earnings of healthcare professionals; the foundational pay for primary care and emergency room physicians should reach a minimum of 35,000 hryvnia,” she highlighted.

Yulia Sviridenko mentioned that the Council of Ministers has already amplified assistance for recent medical school graduates who commit to serving in rural and border territories.

The Prime Minister appended that from 2026 onward, the administration plans to implement yearly routine health assessments for Ukrainians below the age of 40.

“Each individual under 40 will have the opportunity to receive a checkup annually,” Sviridenko pointed out.
