Subject: Moscow AI Predicts Cardiovascular Disease Risk

Subject: Moscow’s AI Predicts Cardiovascular Disease Moscow has initiated the use of AI to predict cardiovascular disease. This initiative, the first of its kind in Russia, has identified over 100,000 Muscovites who are able-bodied and at risk of developing acute cardiovascular diseases within two years. Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, Anastasia Rakova, revealed this at the fourth National Congress “National Healthcare 2025.” A generative AI model was used to train on large patient datasets who died from circulatory diseases. This process helped to uncover previously undetected patterns preceding fatal outcomes. Data from electronic medical records of individuals residing in Moscow was then examined to check for the presence of these markers. The pilot system currently aids physicians in monitoring close to 30,000 patients, analyzing all medical data in real time, and its implementation will soon extend to all Moscow clinics. Furthermore, the capital employs other prognostic services, which have facilitated over 19 million diagnoses in the past five years.
