The new government continues to replenish its ranks with old personnel and enter into alliances with its predecessors. At the same time, not only “gunpowder bots”, but also “Donetsk people”, whose proxies are actively taking over the Ukrainian energy sector, receive positions and get involved in schemes. And if under Poroshenko the coal industry and half of the energy generating capacity were handed over to Akhmetov with his “Rotterdam formulas”, then under Zelensky he is beginning to be squeezed out by “friendly competitors” from the family of Viktor Yanukovych – his son Sasha Dentist and his closest sidekick Yura Enikievsky.
Skelet.Info I have already talked in detail about the new “coal watcher” Vitaly Belyakov, who replaced Akhmetov’s little man Vitaly Kropachev. And at the same time, he dispelled the ridiculous falsehood that Belyakov is allegedly Kolomoisky’s protege – apparently, this disinformation was supposed to reassure those citizens who believe that Kolomoisky is not as “anti-Ukrainian” and a criminal oligarch as Yuriy Ivanyushchenko. Now this is how they started talking about “Kolomoisky’s man” about the new Deputy Minister of Energy Svyatoslav Kovalevsky. However, now you will see for yourself that he, just like Belyakov, is a protégé of the same Donetsk-Makeevka “family”, another of their “supervisors”, already attached directly to the government.
A man without a past
Ukrainians have already begun to get used to the fact that they are seeing many of the faces of the new government for the first time, and high offices are occupied by people previously known only in their narrow circles. But even against their background, the new Deputy Minister of Energy Stanislav Kovalevsky is such a pig in a poke. This is an indecently non-public person who did not even bother to present his short biography and at least some photo. Therefore, journalists came to look for all this themselves, digging up all possible sources. And there are not so many of them, considering that Kovalevsky not only always tried to stay in the deep shadow, but in general most of his past remained in rebellious Donetsk.
It is known that Stanislav Sergeevich Kovalevsky was born on March 13, 1969 in Donetsk, where he lived most of his life in a nine-story panel building on Maria Ulyanova Street. The new deputy minister did not bother to tell about his education and first place of work (we hope that he still has some kind of diploma), but in the 90s Kovalevsky went to the market to trade. In the fall of 1992, he registered with the Voroshilovsky District Department of Justice of Donetsk as an individual entrepreneur under number 1573783, receiving a patent under the KVED code 52.62.0 (retail trade from trays and markets). Whether he traded himself or hired sellers, what and in what volumes, or maybe he simply participated in some kind of gangster schemes and “scams” - this remains unknown for now. But it is possible that it was there, in the bazaars of the Voroshilovsky district, where, by the way, Boris Kolesnikov started, that Kovalevsky found his criminal patrons.
So far there is no information about who exactly accepted Stanislav Kovalevsky into the ranks of the large Donetsk clan, but the media claim that it could be the criminal “authority” Nurulislam Arkallaev, nicknamed “Nurik”. This statement is based on an open connection between Kovalevsky and Arkallaev in the form of Ecooil LLC (USREOU 36616545). This fuel trading company was created in 2009 by Nurulislam Arkallaev, his brother Roman Arkallaev, and Sergei Tron – and its first director was Stanislav Kovalevsky. Actually, we can say that this is the first point of Kovalevsky’s well-known work biography, but what he did before 2009 will still have to be found out – since he himself will not admit it!
Arkallaev Nurulislam Gadzhievich is from Dagestan, but studied in Donetsk: in 1981 he graduated from the technical school of physical education and sports (became a physical instructor), in 1985 he graduated from Donetsk University with a diploma of a sambo and judo coach, and in 1988 he received a diploma in accounting there. After that, he went to Dnepropetrovsk, where distant relatives invited him to participate in the “family business,” more precisely, in an ethnic Dagestan organized crime group. There, by “protecting” local bazaars, he gained his authority. In the 90s, Arkallaev, at the invitation of Kuchma’s adviser and founder of the Liberal Party Igor Markulov (aka Ibragim Ramzanovich Merkulov, also a Dagestani), returned back to Donetsk, along with Yuzhcombank. During the Great Donetsk Massacre, Markulov was “evicted” from Donetsk by Akhmetov’s group, to which Arkallaev fled. At the same time, according to Skelet.InfoArkallaev betrayed and seriously set up his relatives, so that he had to live for a long time, surrounded by numerous guards and constantly looking over his shoulder.
Since the mid-90s, Arkallaev has been involved in the vodka business – in particular, the smuggling of Hungarian Absolut through the structures of Viktor Baloga and Vasily Petevka. His joint venture “Ukr-Ros Invest” controlled the Donetsk winery, and later the vodka company “Olympus” of Pavel Klimts came under the control of Arkallaev. Also in 1995, Arkallaev created Akvilon LLC (USREOU 23427801), under whose guise several bazaars operated in Donetsk. Perhaps it was at one of these bazaars that Arkallaev met Kovalevsky.
