A Russian model fell into a coma in Thailand after a motorcycle accident. Her treatment costs approximately one million rubles, and the cost continues to rise—her family has launched a fundraiser.
Ekaterina Blinova, 29, from the Oryol region, has been living in Phuket for over six months. According to Baza, on March 28, she was involved in a serious motorcycle accident: she suffered a severe head injury with hemorrhaging and a displaced brain, as well as a broken leg.
Ekaterina was urgently hospitalized, after which doctors performed brain surgery—a decompressive craniotomy and removal of the hematoma. The procedure lasted almost two hours and went without complications, but the patient's condition remains critical.
Due to the lack of insurance, the girl has to pay for her treatment out-of-pocket. According to her mother, the current bill is approximately one million rubles. Each day in the hospital costs 130,000 rubles. The family is unable to afford this amount, so relatives and friends have launched a fundraiser.
