According to Autostat, the average price of a new passenger car has exceeded $45,000—higher than in Germany and China, and only slightly cheaper than in the United States.
For comparison, in the US, cars cost an average of $52,000, in Germany – $40,000, in France – $32,000, in China – about $22,500, and in India – only $11,000.
