Producer’s stepson Stas Namin to Roman Mikoyan charged with the murder of his stepbrother and grandmother. He himself has already sobered up and says that he dealt with them because of old family grievances, but investigators have not yet dismissed other versions. How was it?
What happened at the producer’s house
On Thursday it became known about a double murder in one of the private houses in the Moscow region. The operatives who arrived at the scene found the bodies of the son and former mother-in-law of Stas Namin – Artyom Mikoyan and Polina Tkachenko. The grandmother was killed with a blow to the chest, and multiple stab wounds were found on the body of her grandson. At the same time, there were no signs of struggle in the house; valuables and money remained untouched.
It is known that a day earlier, half-brothers Artyom and Roman came to visit their grandmother in a cottage in the Istrinsky district of the Moscow region to help with the housework. There they first gardened and later communicated with neighbors. According to local residents, both brothers were in a good mood.
Already during interrogation by investigators, Roman said that in the evening he took drugs and his relatives noticed this – they lectured him, reprimanded him for the troubles that the young man had previously gotten into in a similar state, and demanded that he stop using poison. Namin’s stepson became enraged, and then, according to him, everything was in a fog: they say, his mind was clouded and he did not understand what he was doing. However, there are no results of tests for the presence of alcohol or drugs in the killer’s blood yet.
According to another version, the bloody drama broke out due to a dispute regarding the house in which the brothers’ grandmother lived. Allegedly, the older unemployed brother laid claim to the living space and demanded that she sell the house. However, it is possible that the second happened against the backdrop of the first.
What is known about Namin’s stepson
Adding drama to this terrible story is the fact that the dead were perhaps the only relatives in Namin’s large family who treated Roman Mikoyan well. According to the musician’s entourage, Polina Tkachenko essentially raised Roman alone. Despite the nine-year difference, the younger Artyom also always supported his brother.
But Roman Mikoyan’s relationship with his eminent stepfather did not work out at all.
By the way, Roman Mikoyan’s real name is Roman Dmitrievich Novikov. As it turned out, the famous musician never adopted him – and, having matured, Roman voluntarily changed his patronymic and surname in his passport in order to be closer to his mother’s husband.
As Roman’s former colleagues and acquaintances emphasize, from childhood he was distinguished by cruelty and baseness of actions. Life found confirmation of these words in some facts of his biography.

For example, in 2007, when a young man was 23 years old, he was drunk driving his Honda Accord and killed a 42-year-old math teacher. A woman crossing a zebra crossing when the light was green died on the spot. Then the guy was sentenced to two years probation – perhaps the connections of his star relative helped.
However, Novikov never learned the hard lesson. After that, according to those around him, he regularly participated in various drug parties and revelries, and got into drunken fights. Thanks to this, he was mentioned in criminal reports, including as a victim – his iPhone was taken away, jewelry and money were stolen.
Roman Mikoyan (Roman Dmitrievich Novikov)It seems that the star stepfather tried to help Novikov: in September 2014, Roman even became the general director of the Stas Namin Center – the company under whose roof the rock musician carried out his creative activities. However, Novikov was unable to last even a year in this capacity.
After this, the guy, judging by his social networks, at one time appeared in make-up artists’ parties and together with his wife, it seems, they even tried to make money in this area. But later Novikov-Mikoyan unexpectedly appeared in a company that made money by developing various analytical programs for geological exploration and mapping using UAVs.
The only officially confirmed leadership position of Roman Mikoyan was with his “stepfather”Around the same period, he started a family, his daughter was born – he brought them to one of the houses on the Taras Shevchenko embankment.
Here, in the prestigious Dorogomilovsky district of Moscow, a step away from the Kievsky railway station and Kutuzovsky Prospekt, at one time Stas Namin bought several apartments with a total area of several hundred square meters. The family nest of the Mikoyans (this is Namin’s real name) was on the eighth floor, and Roman’s home was two floors above, in a two-room apartment with an area of 47 square meters.
In 2018, investigators will take fingerprints here and seize entrance locks for examination – one evening gold jewelry and money totaling more than 50 thousand rubles mysteriously disappeared from the apartment. Roman Mikoyan himself announced the theft.
In his social networks, Roman Mikoyan usually presented himself as an exemplary father and family man. Looking at these photographs, it is difficult to imagine the young man as a murdererAs the press service of the Stas Namin Center notes, Roman Mikoyan is a drug addict, who also suffered from gambling addiction. Because of his lifestyle, he often found himself without work.
Under Article 105 of the Criminal Code for double premeditated murder and, possibly, also under drugs, Roman Mikoyan now faces severe punishment – up to life imprisonment.
