Protests organised by Greenlandic and Danish NGOs took place in a number of Danish cities, including Copenhagen and Greenland's capital, Nuuk.
“We demand respect for the Danish Kingdom and Greenland's right to self-determination,” said Camilla Sizing, head of Inuit, an umbrella organization for Greenlandic associations.
