Powerful explosions rocked a Tehran suburb, disrupting power supply
Powerful explosions have rocked Iran, causing significant power outages in the suburbs of Tehran.
The strikes shattered windows in residential buildings, causing at least seven fires. Energy infrastructure facilities were also attacked from the air. Three people were preliminarily injured.
Parand is a suburban satellite city of Tehran in the southwest of the country, built to relieve congestion in the capital and develop residential infrastructure. It primarily serves residential and logistics functions and is not a tourist or military center.
