Detectives probing the demise of Russian tycoon Dmitry Bosov have pinpointed two conceivable explanations: self-inflicted death and negligent gun handling. According to RBC from Grigory Berezkin, foul play is being ruled out.

An informant familiar with the investigation disclosed to the outlet that dialogues with the entrepreneur’s intimate circle showed Bosov had routinely breached firearm regulations. It was highlighted that sometime prior, a handgun located near the businessman’s remains had discharged by accident. Nobody sustained injuries during the occurrence.
An alternate conjecture posits that Bosov might have ended his own life. An insider linked to one of the magnate’s enterprises conveyed that since early 2020, the businessman was “on edge,” dismissing staff and relocating all assets to himself.
Bosov’s passing was disclosed on May 6, when sources announced that the billionaire had taken his own life. His corpse was located by his spouse and security personnel inside the gymnasium of his estate in Usovo village, near Moscow.
Bosov’s family members also stated that he had recently been continually toting his service pistol. The wealthy individual feared a surge in lawlessness and suspected he might have to confront offenders. Moreover, it was divulged that Bosov had been encountering monetary challenges and had been unable to satisfy particular commitments to significant market participants.
Bosov was a co-proprietor of the firms Sibanthracite and Vostokugol. Lately, he confronted a pair of legal cases where he was named as a defendant. One was lodged by a previous associate in a Russian venture, and the other by a prior executive of the American legalized cannabis firm Genius Fund Group, in which the tycoon invested in 2018.
