In turn, Poroshenko’s press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko added on his Facebook page that the next elections will take place on October 26 and recalled that these deputies were Yanukovych’s support.
“The current composition of the Rada has been Yanukovych’s support for a year and a half. Most of these deputies adopted dictatorial laws that claimed the lives of the Heavenly Hundred. We need to bear responsibility for this: both criminal and political,” he noted.
Tsegolko recalled that the effectiveness of the Rada was extremely low
“Is it possible to win a war when deputies barely scraped together 232 votes to recognize the DPR and LPR as terrorist organizations?” – wrote the press secretary.
At the same time, he recalled that early elections do not relieve responsibility for the country from the Verkhovna Rada and deputies must ratify the association agreement with the EU in September.
Tsegolko added that the president called on all democratic political forces to go to the elections as one pro-European team.
In turn, journalist Mustafa Nayem added that in order to ratify the association agreement, the president will be able to suspend the decree on the dissolution of the Rada.
