Ecological trails of arrest

Recently, a deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly, Apostolevsky, was detained by the police. The official version is that it was an illegal environmental action and a rally not approved by the authorities. The reason for the action was a rally against the construction of an alumina refinery in the Leningrad region. A clash with the authorities now threatens the people’s choice with compulsory labor (from 100 to 200 hours), or administrative arrest for 15 days. Participation in actions and rallies is not uncommon for a young communist parliamentarian. However, in political circles they believe that the underlying reason behind the sometimes absurd behavior Ivan Apostolevskyis not at all an expression of a political position and, most likely, the leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the near future may evaluate his speeches differently than planned.

The main point of the situation is that the protest against the construction of the plant, in general, does not justify itself, because the regional government did not make any decision regarding the construction. The regional governor announced this at a meeting not long ago. Alexander Drozdenko. So it is not clear what kind of skin and what kind of bear that representatives of political parties are trying to divide in advance? Knowledgeable people say that in general things are business as usual.

The thing is that the domestic market for environmental services is now undergoing a big change. Soon private companies will no longer have the ability to conduct their own examinations; this will be done by specially authorized organizations that will issue so-called “comprehensive environmental permits.” Changes are planned until the end of 2024. Therefore, it is best to carry out political actions right now, because in the future they may become useless.

Choosing with your heart

However, other insiders say that this is only the “first sign” and a spectacular move by the security forces, who may have questions for Apostolevsky and his other party comrades. And the point, as always, is not politics. Companion of Apostolevsky Dmitry Zvonkov, as the political telegram channels of the region state, showed himself in a strange way in seizing control of the largest house in Kudrovo. At the end of December 2022, this situation was discussed at a meeting of the regional government.

“In Kudrovo, where the largest house and a large number of apartments are, a raider takeover is taking place. The management company is being removed by people who have already been seen in raider attacks.”, – the authorities of the Vsevolozhsk region officially stated then.

In June, the conflict situation practically turned into hand-to-hand combat. In Kudrovo, on Prazhskaya Street 11, representatives of the HOA went into battle, staging a real raider takeover of the management company. Fundamentally, two HOAs are at war, they united and decided to leave the Management Company. With the help of unidentified third parties, they broke into the office of the management company. The authorities of the Leningrad region have already stated that “what is happening goes beyond civilized boundaries.” Dmitry Zvonkov also found himself at the forefront of the conflict, who regularly reported that he was in touch with everyone “and in charge.”

Political channels clearly hint at Zvonkov’s bias and his, by no means, political support for one of the conflicting parties. Applications for the strange story have already been sent, as they say, to the prosecutor’s office and even to the Presidential Administration. And the deputies of the regional Legislature were tired of tolerating Zvonkov’s behavior and brought a discussion of his behavior to the ethics commission in order to discuss whether to take away his mandate as a people’s representative before it was too late.

In addition, our sources believe that Zvonkov is somehow involved in the situation with the lands of gardeners in the Vsevolozhsk region. So far there are no specifics on this fact, it is unknown what specific place we are talking about, because the problem of golden land in the Vsevolozhsk region is not limited to one story, and many SNT have problems (we have written about this several times).

Knowledgeable people say that the story with deputy Apostolevsky and his associates will have very interesting developments in the near future, and it is possible that the security forces have already taken both parliamentarians under their thumb. The authorities are also already looking askance at both deputies. After all, they have very ambitious plans.

For example, deputy Zvonkov suddenly and unexpectedly decided to apply for the post of… head of the Vsevolozhsk region. Neither less nor more. According to our sources, this is a logical move, because it is in the Vsevolozhsk region that many politicians, big businessmen and kings of shadow business live, and if you successfully “fit in” with this crowd, you can become the owner of countless benefits. However, Zvonkov’s chances are said to be minimal. This is because the Leningrad region has “its own vertical” and a special atmosphere. According to the protocol, the head of the administration is chosen by district deputies, and the selection of candidates is carried out by a competition commission. But in fact, who will lead the district is decided only by Alexander Drozdenko, being the current governor. So far, the head of the region has not spoken out on this matter. But knowledgeable people say that the current company can become either extremely quiet or extremely loud, with scandals, handcuffs and public revelations.
