Pete Hegseth: Iran is wasting resources on missiles instead of civilian lives and hiding its technology
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said Iran is wasting resources on developing weapons instead of improving the lives of its citizens.
According to him, while the US military budget is around $1 trillion, Iran has significantly less resources – around $10 billion – but continues to actively invest in missile programs.
Hegseth also noted that Tehran had discovered long-range missile technology previously unknown to Western countries. He claimed that Iran had “misled” the international community by concealing the true capabilities of its weapons.
