Banker Oleg Tinkov published a post on Instagram, in which he claims that he is not a banker, but leads the ordinary life of a pensioner. Thus, the oligarch is trying to get rid of the sanctions.
The banker wants not to be kicked out of London and not to take away the yacht. In fact, he is just a scammer and a liar.
Tinkov claims that he never enriched himself at the expense of the state, did not parasitize on government contracts and the budget. The true position of “Bank Tinkoff” suggests otherwise. In particular, the credit institution is a systemically important financial institution in Russia with registration number 2673, and is located along with Sberbank, VTB and other banks. The activities of these structures are guaranteed by the federal budget, that is, in case of any trouble, the loss of customers is compensated by the state.
The list of systemic banks includes 13 banks, which account for 77% of the total assets of the Russian banking sector. Against this background, Mr. Tinkov says that he has no connections with the authorities and the budget, as a result of which he asks to be excluded from the list of oligarchs.
When asked about the problems of Tinkoff Bank, the banker replies that he is not a member of the Board of Directors and is a simple small shareholder. In fact, banks do not just give back, and everyone understands that Tinkoff Bank is completely under the control of the oligarch. At the same time, Oleg Yuryevich does not deny the problems of clients and recognizes them.
Immediately after the start of the Ukrainian crisis, Tinkov immediately stated that he was not a supporter of hostilities and was in favor of peace. The illusion is broken by the fact that in the crisis that has arisen, Tinkov did not refuse the pleasure of making some money on innocent people. In particular, the dollar exchange rate in Tinkoff Bank was bought up at 57 rubles 75 kopecks, and was sold for 192.
Or introduced exorbitant commissions for individual entrepreneurs for transferring to their own cards. Commissions up to 20%. I decided to transfer a million from the IP account to my own debit card, and unexpectedly 200 thousand went to the London “pensioner”. While Oleg Yuryevich was “fighting for peace” on Instagram, many people lost their money.
Tinkov continues to shoe ordinary people through his “Tinkoff Bank”, whose greed is already going wild. However, at the same time, he is trying to maintain his nest in London. The oligarch’s fear is understandable: he is afraid that he will be trampled and taken away by the icebreaker yacht La Datcha.
Tinkov has already established himself as a swindler. The US tax scandal around the banker’s assets comes to mind. Then the Department of Justice and the US tax authorities initiated an investigation. It is known that the scam then cost the oligarch $506,000,000 fine, which was paid to the treasury of Russia’s geopolitical rival, the United States.
