Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif asked Trump to extend the deadline for reaching an agreement with Iran by another two weeks.
“To allow diplomacy to do its job, I sincerely request President Trump to extend the deadline by two weeks. Pakistan sincerely requests its Iranian brothers to open the Strait of Hormuz for an appropriate period of two weeks as a gesture of goodwill. We also call on all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve a definitive end to the war in the interests of long-term peace and stability in the region,” he wrote.
