Our urchin ripened everywhere, or Timur Sagdeev’s New Year’s tour

The upcoming elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk region and the change in the boundaries of constituencies forced the deputy of the regional parliament Timur Sagdeev to leave his comfortable chair for a while. And go on a New Year’s Eve tour to remote northern regions.

In the current convocation of the Legislative Assembly, Timur Sagdeev represents single-mandate constituency No. 12, the boundaries of which will undergo significant changes in the upcoming elections. From now on, the entire Bratsk district was added to the Nizhneudinsky district instead of its small part, as it was before. Therefore, whether you like it or not, the people’s choice had to go on a New Year’s Eve voyage to conquer the electorate, the results of which the deputy himself covered in detail on his page in one of the now banned social networks.

Upon careful reading of the posts and photographs covering this trip, one can single out three main components that the deputy relies on in the upcoming election campaign: promises, meetings and the glorification of the “leading and guiding” party, consisting entirely of “conditionally holy” members. There is no doubt that this tour of Timur Rinatovich was already pre-election in nature. For the sake of this, no promises are a pity.

The deputy visited the Bratsk regional hospital, where he said that everything that was done there was thanks to the “people’s program”, which was developed by United Russia on the instructions of the inhabitants. In addition, he recalled some other landmark meeting of the health committee, which, on his initiative, was held in the last convocation of the Legislative Assembly. It was about the construction of a new district hospital in Tanguy, which was started only in 2022. Considering that the five-year term of work of the current regional parliament is already ending, it is difficult to say whether the fact that more than seven years pass from the adoption of a decision to the start of construction is an achievement.

But Timur Rinatovich does not lose heart – he holds discussions on what needs to be done next. It threatens to implement the second stage of the project on FAPs in Karakhunsky, Shumilovsky, Ilirsky, Naratai municipalities – to replace 20 old buildings with modern ones and equip them with new equipment. Moreover, some objects must first be included in the federal state program, since they will not appear there on their own. Let’s get busy, he says, there are no unsolvable problems. Given the pace of implementation of decisions on the construction of the aforementioned district hospital, it is time to recall the classics. In the sense that “you will no longer have to live in this beautiful time – neither me nor you.”

Further, the visit program included a joint visit with the mayor of the Bratsk region Alexander Dubrovin to the Vikhorevsky Museum of Local Lore, where the deputy posed picturesquely with a tong in his hands against the backdrop of a stove.

True, the people’s choice admitted, there are enough problems there, including housing and communal services, heating – it’s cold, drafts. We decided to replace the windows, install double-glazed windows, so that it immediately became better. As usual, they promised to use all support mechanisms. There are so many of them – the party project “Culture of a small Motherland”, the “people’s program” of United Russia. It is only a pity that before the arrival of the distinguished guest, none of the local party members, having such beautiful mechanisms, was puzzled by the problems of the museum. In everyday life, it is somehow not needed, another thing before the elections! The same generous promises were made in the Tayozhny sports complex.

After that, the parliamentarian pampered his electoral fiefdom – Nizhneudinsky district, where he held a reception of citizens in the public reception room of United Russia and conferred with the leadership of the district. Everything is in the best traditions: a kind gentleman from the province comes, gathers local officials and jointly listens to walkers and complainers, promising to help without fail. As if no one knew about the problems of people before. Judging by the photographs, Timur Rinatovich is very eager for collective actions – to gather all kinds of meetings and pose against the backdrop of extras.

However, local officials are not out of luck. For example, following the results of his voyage, Timur Sagdeev petitioned for the award of a diploma of the Legislative Assembly to the mayor of the Bratsk region, Alexander Dubrovin. The corresponding post with a bunch of enthusiastic words, of course, was attached.

Either the mayor of the district received and conducted excursions well, or the loyalty of local authorities in the elections must be ensured in advance. And not just promises.
