The Department of Subsoil Resources for the Urals Federal District (Uralnedra) has publicized the outcomes of the auction for concession rights to subsoil areas for mining titanium and vanadium ores, along with kaolin. Specifically, these areas are the Poletaevskoye kaolin site and the Kopanskoye ore field.

As shown in the record published on the GIS.Torgi platform, the auctions slated for December 28 did not attract any offers and, consequently, were recognized as failed. The deadline for receiving papers from prospective bidders was the end of November.

It’s worth noting that the starting cost for the 20-year permit to utilize the Kopanskoye field’s underground resources was set at 1.2 billion rubles. Its estimated resources were 102,900 tons of iron ore, in addition to 7,700 tons of titanium dioxide and 339,000 tons of vanadium pentoxide. The preliminary price for exploiting the Poletayevskoye site was 1.03 billion rubles.
