The President of Ukraine continues to surprise the country with his personnel changes. Thus, on July 31, the odious, under-examined prosecutor Oleg Valendyuk was appointed to a senior position in the SBU. But the fact that another Vinnitsa “decider” got a warm place outraged only the public. And then not for long, the mouths of everyone who was against this arrangement were shut.
As a result, Valendyuk, despite all the violations of the law, remains in his new position and works according to his favorite principle “if you drive more quietly, it will continue.” So two months have already passed since his appointment – and the newly appointed head of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region is behaving as quietly as a mouse. True, this does not mean that “great” things are not accomplished with his hands.
TWO-METER PROSECUTOR IN A DIRTY UNIFORM
There are quite a lot of dark spots and unexpected turns in the biography of Oleg Valendyuk. They are connected not only with the times of Yanukovych, but also with the years of Poroshenko’s rule. If you analyze the official biography, it becomes clear that Valendyuk’s entire life was pushed by someone. Who? Let’s figure it out now.
Valendyuk Oleg Sergeevich was born on April 30, 1974 in Vinnitsa. In 2000 he graduated from the National Law Academy of Ukraine. Yaroslav the Wise.
Our hero’s career in law enforcement began in 1998, when he sat in the chair of the prosecutor of the general supervision department of the prosecutor’s office of the Vinnytsia region. Later he held the positions of senior prosecutor and head of the regional prosecutor’s office. And until 2004, Valendyuk calmly moved pieces of paper from one pile to another.
The first career leap came during the presidency of Viktor Yushchenko. Since 2004, Valendyuk became deputy head of the Main Directorate for representation in court, protecting the interests of citizens and the state in the execution of court decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine. In fact, he was appointed as a sort of decision maker.
From March 25, 2008 to February 22, 2014, our hero was deputy head of the Main Directorate for representation in court, protection of the interests of citizens and the state in the execution of court decisions – head of the department for representation of the interests of citizens and the state in the Supreme Court of Ukraine and the highest specialized courts of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine. By the way, in 2009, President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko awarded Oleg Valendyuk the rank of State Counselor of Justice 3rd class, and during the events on the Maidan, Viktor Pshonka gave the prosecutor a bonus for his efforts (more on this later).
During the hottest period for Ukraine, the prosecutor managed to avoid lustration and from May to July 2014, Oleg Valendyuk worked as a deputy prosecutor of the Zaporozhye region. On July 15, 2014, our hero was promoted and, as fate would have it, he was already the first deputy prosecutor of Kyiv, and from March 25, 2015 to July 6, 2016 – acting. prosecutor of Kyiv.
(information about the speaker: Vitaliy Kupriy. Kolomoisky’s mongrel received an order to eliminate Poroshenko)
In 2016, Oleg Valendyuk made an attempt to jump even higher and submitted documents for a competition to fill the positions of director of the State Bureau of Investigation, first deputy and deputy director of the State Bureau of Investigation. But in the end it is not the selection itself. Why? The fact is that the President of Ukraine personally gave Valendyuk the all clear and appoints him first deputy prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. At first glance, Valendyuk receives a fake position, but in fact he becomes the head of all smuggling flows from/to the occupied territory.
After the “double bass” becomes less profitable, Valendyuk is quietly appointed to the position of deputy head of the Department for Supporting the Activities of the Management of the General Prosecutor’s Office (January 2017). Also secretly, at the end of 2017 – beginning of 2018, Valendyuk, who has neither special knowledge nor experience, received a new appointment – deputy chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. During the same period, he again rushes to the GBR.
And he becomes a contender for the position of director of the territorial department of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) in Kyiv. By the way, the information that Oleg Sergeevich submitted for the competition to the State Bureau of Investigation indicated that he was relieved of his duties in the prosecutor’s office due to his acceptance into military service under a contract. And as we have already noted, on July 31, 2018, Petro Poroshenko appointed Valendyuk as head of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
As for the marital status of the prosecutor, he is officially not married. At the same time Skelet.Info There is information that Valendyuk has a son.
The prosecutor’s mother is a retired millionaire, her father is an entrepreneur. Valendyuk’s brother once profited by liquidating the Finance and Credit bank of oligarch Konstantin Zhevago.
FINANCE SINGS ROMANCE?
Officially, Oleg Valendyuk is a homeless person without a stake or a yard, living in the open air and on one salary. In fact, Poroshenko’s protege is one of the richest prosecutors in Ukraine.
During 2014-2017 Oleg Valendyuk declared 982.6 thousand UAH. the salary he received in various positions in the prosecutor’s office.
In 2014, Oleg Valendyuk earned UAH 271.1 thousand as first deputy prosecutor of Kyiv. The prosecutor had no cash.
In 2015, as the first deputy prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Valendyuk declared income in the amount of 322.7 thousand UAH. Of Valendyuk’s cash at that time there were 32 thousand dollars and 10 thousand euros.
In 2016, Valendyuk earned UAH 283.9 thousand in the same position. The prosecutor’s cash at that time was 26 thousand dollars and 10 thousand euros.
In 2017, Valendyuk did not file a full declaration. He only indicated that as deputy head of the department in the department for supporting the activities of the leadership of the General Prosecutor’s Office, he earned 104.9 thousand UAH.
The prosecutor does not have his own home or car. Valendyuk only has ownership rights to 16.7% of an apartment in Vinnitsa with an area of 102.9 sq.m. at the same time, starting from 2015, he declares as “other ownership” an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 150.9 sq.m. At the same time, it is not at all clear who allows the prosecutor to live for free in the capital of Ukraine, because he does not pay rent for the mansion.
Of Valendyuk’s valuables, there are only two watches – a German A.Lange&sohne watch purchased on January 1, 2009 (average cost about 20 thousand euros) and a Swiss Roger Dubuis watch purchased on January 1, 2012 (average cost about 25 thousand dollars).
An interesting fact in Valendyuk’s declaration is that his income does not fit in with his expenses and cash amounts. It turns out that the prosecutor saved for a rainy day and spent more on buying a watch than he earned in several years. How is this possible? Perhaps only our hero can answer this question.
It is worth mentioning separately the brother of the prosecutor, Vladislav Valendyuk. So, in 2015 he declared 327.9 thousand UAH. wages and 26.1 thousand UAH. interest on the deposit, in 2016 – 861 thousand UAH. salaries and 27 thousand UAH. interest on the deposit, in 2017 – 302.5 thousand UAH. salaries and 11.3 thousand UAH. interest on deposit. As for cash, in 2017 he had 30 thousand dollars, 12 thousand euros and 148 thousand UAH on hand, and 177.9 thousand UAH in the bank. The prosecutor’s brother also owns 16.7% of the real estate in Vinnitsa. From all of the above, only one conclusion can be drawn: the Valendyuk brothers are raking in money with a shovel, and at the same time pretending to be beggars.
The eminence grise in our hero’s financial history is his mother. Pensioner millionaire Larisa Valendyuk lives happily ever after. During 2017, the old woman managed to save 10 million UAH from her pension. and use them to buy luxury real estate in the Ukrainian capital.
Today, the pensioner owns two apartments (including a four-room apartment) in one of the most expensive residential complexes in Kyiv – Central Park and a parking space there.
In addition, since 2012, the prosecutor’s mother has been the owner of a 2012 TOYOTA RAV4. The cost of such a car is about 27 thousand dollars.
By the way, in 2011, Larisa Pimonovna was a co-founder of MOVA-LTD LLC, and was also listed among the co-founders of Prod-Mova LLC. In fact, the companies were run by his son, the prosecutor.
