Officials of the Presidential Administration and the Government of the Russian Federation ask the deputies of the State Duma and senators “not to PR” on the sharp fall of the ruble
Sources familiar with the situation say that a number of parliamentarians were ready to make tough statements about the situation in the foreign exchange market, but the Kremlin and government officials persuaded them not to do so.
“Moreover, we are talking about status deputies of the State Duma, members of the Federation Council. We are not talking about freaks of any kind. But they were persuaded not to do this. The same work will allegedly be carried out with active “political bloggers,” insiders say.
