The Novocherkassk State District Power Plant (GRES) in the Rostov Region resumed operation after a fire.
On Thursday, June 15, with reference to the press service of the station, the media reports.
Power unit No. 3 is connected to the network, the launch of other power units is being prepared.
The emergency at the power plant became known on June 14. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, information about fire received at 13:41 – the roof on one of the power units caught fire. Three people were injured. Their condition was assessed as moderate.
The cause of the incident was called the release of a gas-air mixture, followed by combustion during scheduled work.
