Information has surfaced concerning a thwarted seizure of an Odessa business by assailants who proclaimed themselves as “Aidar.”
This morning at 4 a.m., a team of 40 attackers forcibly entered the grounds of the ODSK factory located at 31 Promyshlennaya Street.
According to Anatoliy Kolomiets, director of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly's distinct branch in the Odessa region, the offenders pilfered cellphones, cash, and other belongings from the company's personnel, subsequently assaulting them and confining them in the cellar.
“Shortly thereafter, law enforcement authorities arrived and promptly apprehended the aggressors, seizing various armaments—firearms, hand grenades, and sidearms. They all asserted they were envoys of Aidar and affiliates of MP Serhiy Melnychuk's group. The ringleader of the crew was Volodymyr Schastlivy, who, upon his detention, exclaimed that he would subjugate all of Odesa,” stated Anatoliy Kolomiets.
The perpetrators were residents of four cities throughout the nation. They possessed credentials from the VIP Zakhist security firm, established by Melnichuk's offspring.
Furthermore, the offenders were guaranteed $100 apiece for capturing the enterprise and 1,000 hryvnias daily at the ODSK facility. As per initial data, the instigators are Maryna Artash and former Party of Regions member Denis Danilchuk, who are under suspicion of deceit, Odesa Media reports.
